Fuel your body and clear your mind.

My husband and I love to cook and tease that we are amateur foodies. We have a year-round garden, usually a freezer full of harvested fruits and veggies and a supply of dried goods that could feed the neighborhood. It makes for easy food prep. We enjoy a meal out from time to time, but we are more interested in eating simply at our own table.

While we once hit up the grocery store multiple times a week it’s a once a week affair these days. We love the local Farmers Market and likely a quick run to the grocery store. We’ve found that during the week we would really rather spend less time in the kitchen and more time playing, going for a walk in the woods or simply being outside moving our bodies than being in the kitchen. This is especially true when the days get longer and the weather is so amazing.

I made this short video on my top 3 tips to not only survive the week with home-cooked meals, but to thrive during the week with fewer dishes and more time for play. How you fuel your body has a direct impact on your digestion, quality of sleep and overall ease.
