As a Yoga Health Coach, I help you get unstuck. I guide you from where you are to where you want to be in body, mind and spirit with simple daily practices in a step by step process. The result is a more vibrant and easeful life-on and off your yoga mat. I make navigating all the conflicting information about diet, exercise, meditation, and how to shift habits fun, clear and accessible and make your holistic health goals easier and more fun to achieve.

All coaching, guidance, support, and habits are grounded in the ancient wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda. Ayurveda is considered the sister science to yoga or the health science of yoga. You are presented a system and approach that has been tested over and over again for thousands of years. We start to align ourselves with nature and slowly make changes, one step at a time.

When it comes to taking care of ourselves, most of us know what to do, but just aren’t doing it. We read books, magazines, watch documentaries, talk with friends and family, and have the best intentions to shift our health, but many times we hit a roadblock. I know this from years of experience, and you might, too.

The same old habits and stories pull us back into the same ways of doing things, which exhibit the same feelings physically, mentally, and emotionally. The same unconscious habits that got us to feeling sluggish, unclear, lacking focus, anxious, and feeling YUCK in our favorite jeans, aren’t helping us to feel vibrant, light, clear, focused, and connected.

It’s about getting UNSTUCK from the YUCK.

We have all the information we need; we just may not be applying it. This is why we never really make the kind of headway we yearn for or feel our full, vibrant, potential.

Information is available to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We can type any question or inquiry into our phone or computer and have 10,000 articles to read. This can be completely overwhelming and we are left to randomly click on the best title, not really knowing what information will be the most helpful, accurate or useful given our set of unique circumstances.

Even though we’ve read all the hot books and research, this doesn’t mean we know what to do with all of the information we’ve found. A yoga health coach helps people to develop the skills to apply the practices in real time and to incorporate all of this great knowledge into daily life.

In order to shift our health, we have to be able and willing to shift our habits.

Shifting habits can bring up resistance. We are creatures of habit.I If we don’t have the tools to work with our resistance, we end up waving the white flag of surrender and finding ourselves on January 1st the following year with the same intention as the previous, having made no progress. Sound familiar?

This is where mindset comes in. Mindset is the attitude we bring to our life and is at the forefront of how we react and respond to life’s circumstances. If we are stuck in old thought patterns, there is little room for potential. Some schools of ancient thought might argue that the path of the yogi is about living in the present; however, aligning with our desire and aiming our life in a direction aligned with our heart is also the work of the yogi.

Our life is a trajectory.

Sometimes in order to move forward we have to pull the bow back, draw in, reflect, get uncomfortable, and aim our sights in the direction of our highest and truest intention. This isn’t always an easy task. Having support and guidance on this path can make the journey fun, fast and effective.
