Wisdom flows on the breath.

All of the information right now with the corona virus is pointing my awareness to the power of the breath.

How you breathe is important and it can be incorporated in your yoga practice or simply walking the dog.

Pranayama is translated to mean the expansion of lifeforce. When we breathe consciously we circulate prana through the body. This is one of the key benefits to any breath body practice.

I created a recording of the pratiloma technique. I highly recommend reading through the description and/or listening and practicing this technique as part of your morning and evening rhythm. You’ll find greater strength and relaxation in your diaphragm.

An easy way to practice this is also through simple nasal breathing while riding your bike or walking uphill. Notice when you want to naturally shift your breath from your nose to your mouth and see how long you can continue to breathe through your nose

I’ve also been teaching this technique as part of my livestream classes on Sundays and Tuesdays, so be sure to drop in if you are curious and/or interested. Both of these classes are ALL Levels.
